Air Duct Services in Venice, FL
Duct Cleaning, Repair, Replacement, and Installation
Your air conditioning system is only as good as the ductwork that delivers the air. Leaky, dirty, or damaged ducts waste energy, create hot spots, and push dust and allergens into every room. Finish Line Cooling & Heating provides duct cleaning, repair, sealing, replacement, and new installation for homes and light commercial properties across Sarasota County and Charlotte County.
Ductwork Services for Venice Area Homes and Businesses
Ductwork is one of the most overlooked parts of an HVAC system. Homeowners replace AC units, change filters, and schedule tune-ups, but rarely think about the ducts that connect everything. In many Florida homes, ductwork runs through unconditioned attic space where summer temperatures can exceed 140 degrees.
According to ENERGY STAR, 20 to 30 percent of the air moving through a typical duct system is lost to leaks, holes, and poorly connected joints. That is money leaving your home every month. Finish Line Cooling & Heating inspects, cleans, repairs, seals, replaces, and installs ductwork for residential and light commercial properties.
Air Duct Cleaning
Over time, dust, pollen, pet hair, mold spores, and other contaminants accumulate inside your ductwork. Every time your system cycles, it pushes that buildup into your living spaces.
Full-System Duct Cleaning
Cleaning all supply and return ducts, registers, grilles, and the main trunk line. This is the standard service for most homes and addresses the entire distribution system.
Post-Construction Duct Cleaning
After a renovation, remodel, or new construction, ductwork often contains drywall dust, wood shavings, and other debris that needs to be removed before the system operates normally.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
Lint buildup in dryer vents restricts airflow and is a fire hazard. We clean the full vent run from the dryer to the exterior exhaust point.
Duct Repair, Sealing, and Replacement
Leaky, damaged, or deteriorating ductwork wastes energy, creates hot and cold spots, and forces your AC to work harder than it should.
We locate and seal leaks at joints, connections, and damaged sections using professional-grade mastic. This is the most cost-effective way to improve duct performance.
Repairing or replacing individual sections that are damaged, disconnected, or crushed. Common in attics where ducts have been disturbed by other work.
When ductwork is too old, too damaged, or too poorly designed to repair, we replace the full system with properly sized and sealed new ductwork.
New Duct Installation
New ductwork needs to be designed and installed correctly from the start. Undersized ducts, poor routing, and bad connections create airflow problems that last the life of the system.
New Construction Ductwork
Working with builders to design and install complete duct systems in new homes and commercial buildings. We handle rough-in during framing and final connections at startup.
Addition and Remodel Ductwork
Extending existing ductwork or installing new runs to serve room additions, converted garages, enclosed lanais, or reconfigured floor plans.

Benefits of Professional Ductwork Service
Lower Energy Bills
Sealing and repairing leaky ducts can improve system efficiency by 20% or more. When conditioned air actually reaches your rooms, your system runs less.
Better Airflow and Comfort
Properly sealed and sized ducts deliver consistent airflow to every room, eliminating hot spots and cold zones.
Cleaner Indoor Air
Dirty, leaky ducts pull in dust, insulation fibers, and allergens from your attic and distribute them throughout your home. Clean, sealed ducts keep your air cleaner.
Longer System Life
When ducts leak, your AC runs longer and harder. That extra strain shortens the life of your compressor, blower motor, and other components. Good ductwork protects your entire system.

We highly recommend Finish Line for AC/heating. It’s been our experience that they are honest, reliable and respectful. We interacted with Ken (owner) Tyler, Paul and one other tech (sorry I didn’t get your name) thru this process and each of them are well trained and willing to explain their work. Our warranty work was done immediately and thoroughly. Thank you very much.

On 6.19.2026 our ac went down at our home in North Port at 11:00 pm. We Called 9 companies fist that all claimed they offered 24 hour service. The companies really offer 24 hour AI telephone service. We wasted an hour calling and leaving messages, when we called Kenny Gibson from Finish Line he actually answered the phone and was out to us within 45 minutes and resolved our problem professionally . Kenny has very fair emergency service pricing. . Our advice call Kenny first. We will be using Finishline AC in the future for all our needs.

These guys came through! I had called my regular a/c service company 3x while my house was at 81 degrees and left multiple messages with the service rep and didn’t even get the courtesy of a call back. Then I called Finish Line and they picked up on a Sunday on the 1st ring. I spoke to Kenny and he had someone at my house within an hour, at a reasonable rate and had my unit back up and running that same day (frozen coil). They even scheduled to come back the next day (free of charge) to make sure the unit remained working properly. Customer service is everything and word of mouth is worth more dollars than you can count. Finish Line just became my new A/C go to guy and I suggest you give them a try. Good work , at an honest price with guys who actually put service first!

Ductwork Questions
Honest answers to the questions homeowners ask most — about repairs, replacements, emergency service, and maintenance.
How do I know if my ducts are leaking?
Common signs include uneven temperatures between rooms, higher than expected energy bills, excessive dust, and your AC running longer than it should.
How often should air ducts be cleaned?
Every 3 to 5 years for most homes. If you have pets, allergies, recent construction, or notice a musty smell, you may need cleaning sooner.
Is duct sealing worth the cost?
In most cases, yes. Sealing leaky ducts improves efficiency by 20% or more, which typically pays for itself in energy savings within one to two years.
Do you install ductwork for new construction?
Yes. We design and install ductwork for new builds, remodels, and room additions.
Can duct problems affect my AC performance?
Absolutely. Your AC may be working perfectly, but if the ducts are leaking 20 to 30 percent of the air, your rooms will never feel right.
