On 6.19.2026 our ac went down at our home in North Port at 11:00 pm. We Called 9 companies fist that all claimed they offered 24 hour service. The companies really offer 24 hour AI telephone service. We wasted an hour calling and leaving messages, when we called Kenny Gibson from Finish Line he actually answered the phone and was out to us within 45 minutes and resolved our problem professionally . Kenny has very fair emergency service pricing. . Our advice call Kenny first. We will be using Finishline AC in the future for all our needs.

These guys came through! I had called my regular a/c service company 3x while my house was at 81 degrees and left multiple messages with the service rep and didn’t even get the courtesy of a call back. Then I called Finish Line and they picked up on a Sunday on the 1st ring. I spoke to Kenny and he had someone at my house within an hour, at a reasonable rate and had my unit back up and running that same day (frozen coil). They even scheduled to come back the next day (free of charge) to make sure the unit remained working properly. Customer service is everything and word of mouth is worth more dollars than you can count. Finish Line just became my new A/C go to guy and I suggest you give them a try. Good work , at an honest price with guys who actually put service first!

Finish Line Cooling & Heating is a local, owner-operated HVAC company in Venice, founded in 2023 on a simple idea: do honest work, install it right, and treat people like neighbors. The experience behind it goes back much further.
Owner Kenny Gibson spent 15 years in the trade at a single company, working his way up to lead installer and earning awards for craftsmanship and quality. That’s a long time to learn how a system should be sized, installed, and set up — and how it goes wrong when corners get cut.
He started Finish Line because more and more local HVAC companies are being bought up by private equity — and when that happens, the pressure shifts toward sales quotas instead of the customer. Kenny built the opposite: a company with integrity that puts people first.

Why does my house feel humid even when the AC is running?
This is the most common comfort complaint in our climate. An oversized or aging system cools the air fast but doesn’t run long enough to pull out moisture. The EPA recommends keeping indoor humidity between 30 and 50 percent. We can correct sizing, add a whole-home dehumidifier, or adjust your setup to fix it.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency AC repair?

How often should I service my AC in Florida?
We recommend twice a year for systems running this hard in our heat and salt air — once before summer and once for the cooler months. A typical home loses 20 to 30 percent of its conditioned air to duct leaks, so regular service matters.
How do I know if I need a new system or just a repair?
It depends on the age of the system, the cost of the fix, and how often it’s been breaking down. We’ll show you what we find and lay out your options honestly. If another company quoted a replacement, we offer a free second opinion before you commit.
What does a service call cost?
A standard service call starts at $95 in most areas. Some extended service areas may have a higher diagnostic fee, and we’ll always tell you upfront before we head out — so there are no surprises.
